Keisuke is definitely one of my favourite go-to ramen places with its unlimited servings of hard-boiled egg and bean sprouts to go with your ramen (4 eggs are definitely do-able)!
There are also options to customise the broth and noodles on whether you’ll like it richer or the noodles firmer, definitely one of the top places to go for ramen in Singapore!

Nansuttei’s ramen definitely finds it way to our top ramen in Singapore, being affordably priced at S$12 for the most basic bowl of ramen! Floating on the surface of the soup is the fragrant black ma-yu (roast garlic oil) which is an iconic component of the Nantsuttei flavour created by frying garlic over seven phases.
Lastly, the rich and creamy pork bone soup seals the deal, leaving you craving for more!

If you’re heading to Chijmes, do keep a lookout for this small and cozy space of Hakata Ikkousha Ramen! During the times I headed down to eat, I noticed the soup foaming with bubbles, which is a prominent feature of Hakata Ikkousha’s ramen. These foaming bubbles are present due to the process of slowly simmering pork bones, ensuring a thick and creamy broth.
Prices are also pretty affordable, with the most basic Tonkotsu standard ramen going at S$12, with free-flow eggs, definitely one of our top picks for best ramen in Singapore!

When I was checking with my ‘ramen fanatic’ friends, many recommended Sanpoutei as one of the better Shoyu ramen places out there. The Shoyu soup made of a mixture of vegetables, whole chicken, tonkotsu and 2 different kinds of dried sardine imported from japan is boiled for hours to bring out the rich flavour of the soup!
They have 2 outlets, one at Holland Village and the other at Shaw House which you can conveniently pop into if you’re in town!

I had my first dry ramen experience with Kajiken and ever since, I’ve been returning to the place for my dry ramen fix! Conveniently located at Orchid Hotel, it takes less than 5 minutes by foot from Tanjong Pagar MRT station to get to this place.
The Taiwan Mazesoba and the Original Mazesoba with spicy chilli sauce are definitely my favourites with the spicy minced meat adding that “oomph” factor to the dry ramen.
They also serve up complimentary soup and water to patrons. However, seats are pretty limited so do head down early if you’re not a fan of waiting (like I am).
